the only positive thing she has done for society is Mean girls. THAT IS HER LEGACY! also her chart is crazy |
FireWire | Wow. That is all I can say. Not about her chart, but I guess generally speaking how we tend to view 'celebrity,' because it will certainly devolve into that. She is still a human being, a part of humanity. I hope she is able to get her life on track. I've seen people in worse circumstances get themselves together and live wonderfully lives and contribute to the world around them, [subjectively] perhaps more than some who "had it together" all along. I wish her the best. |

Ditto. I have a few friends here in LA that hang out with her actually. She's really good friends with the bar owner that my former roommate works for/is best friends with. Roomie and his friend met her a few times at her place in Venice Beach while she was under house arrest. Apparently, she's very nice, and still has a great interest in film, fashion, etc. I have a few friends in the music industry who knew her during her heavy party days, too... They obviously don't have much good to say about her, but I take it all with a grain of salt. Everyone has their issues. It's not our place to judge her or her mistakes. I hope she gets back on the right track and finds a way of living a more peaceful life. |
lindisfarne | First of all if she is serious about getting her career back she would to whatever salon she goes to and go back to her roots - red hair! she was absolutely stunning. I don't know why she went blonde it washes her out and intensifies the unattractive aspects about her physically. She used to be so beautiful -its still there but it's not how it used to be. |
Ami Anne | You know, I think about people who have it all and do not have a sense of self. What good does it do them ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

This is one reason why I prefer not to be in the spotlight. How lonesome it is.. having no one, not being able to trust anyone really. With all that money and the world at your feet, and enabling your bad behavior etc. |

Depends on your idea of what a 'contribution' and success, are.
Honestly I'd rather be a mediocre-but-happy person than a tortured household name with a ton of skeletons in their closet; or a highly traumatic, abusive past...so on and so forth. And truthfully I think a lot of celebrities would tell you the same thing. |
